I moved to Colorado in 2014 to start a new
adventure and haven’t left since. I love hiking, climbing, and skiing… you know… the typical Colorado things. I also don’t mind the occasional rainy day where I get to stay inside and catch up on some of my fav shows like Love Island or
To Catch a Predator.
While balancing my life, school, and work-studies, I managed to earn my Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems at CSU-Pueblo and landed my first
real job shortly after graduating.
I was a
Lead Mission/Systems Engineer for Aerodyne Industries and successfully led multiple computer-assisted simulated events with varying levels of complexity. These events helped prepare stakeholders for various real-world scenarios, and by utilizing my technical knowledge to design scalable solutions, I ensured that each event met our customers’ needs.
While in this position, I earned my
Master of Science in IT MGMT and leveraged the skills I learned to lead and manage tech-driven projects. Shortly after earning my Master degree, I decided it was time for a new challenge, so I left my position for a new start.
Currently, I'm a
Product Owner for my organization’s DevOps Team and have successfully led the efforts of automating CI/CD pipelines for six products resulting increased efficiency by decreasing the amount of manual building and testing required.
I have close to eight years of experience within the Defense Industry and naturally find myself in leadership positions. I like to lead with passion, excitement, and curiosity. I try to foster a shared sense of purpose and enthusiasm to increase my
team’s motivation and engagement. I excel in cross-functional communication and have a proven track record of keeping multiple teams aligned with our business goals and vision.
